Deluding disguise

Blue_Magic_Water_Orb_by_novalita

Peeping into the orb of future

Sarah saw the clock turning anticlockwise

She said-“Yes this is a venture”

She turned into a doll, this became her very guise

She was as pink as a periwinkle

She had  small gold bell on her neck

It used to tinkle whenever a parrot tried to peck

She had beautiful aqua eyes

As time went on she befriended Dr.Potato spice

They used to jump together play dice

and they also had fun chasing mice

One sad day,she tore

Her friends told she became a complete  bore

She became pale,unfriendly and sour

One sorrowful day,she was thrown into a dustbin

after this her life never became like it was before

A sense of realization spread through her mind

She turned pleasant and really kind

Now the clock started turning clockwise

At last she was herself,no more disguise

Sarah was back

As good as a fairy

She had lots of friends Vienna,Morgan and Cary

She lived for years happily!!

This is one of the first poems i wrote..Kinda childish i guess..

  1. Yeah, you’re right…veeery childish…pink fairies and periwinkle blue eyes really don’t fit today’s notion of magic and pretty dolls. I mean if you wanted to see magic all you have to do is flip on Harry Potter or Wizard Willywinkle or the Sorcerer’s Apprentice…dolls now range from Saffy to Barbie to Little Mommy….Waiting for that vid!
